Title: New waterproofing stuff?
Post by: pmackenzie on November 17, 2013, 12:13:27 PM
Water repellant taken to a whole new level. 8)

Watch till the end where he does the iphone.
Could be neat for the bottom of float planes, no water or pond scum to wipe off. Wonder if it is foam safe.
Doing repairs might be tricky if the glue won't stick.

I had seen it advertised but did not make the connection to modelling.

Neat, must try it.

Thinking about it on float planes on wet grass. It would make take offs a bit easier but landings might be a bit longer.

You would have to take any shrink wrap off an ESC and maybe dismantle an Rx.

I wonder if you could treat a motor so it would run under water? Not for long just until you had shut it down.
