Have decommissioned my House of Balsa Mustang 20 after about 20 years. It flew great until its last flight but I wanted to make space for newer planes. I had taken all the electronics out of it and all the horns off and threw it in the garbage and then realized maybe somebody wanted a project.
It needs to be re-covered and the nose re-finished to hide the old IC (OS .25 SF) motor holes (carb, muffler, etc.).
I used a 35mm HK outrunner and inrunner on it and it flew nicely on 4 cell 2600 battery with a 9x6 prop (max diameter because of ground clearance). All the hinges are in place but I have taken the tail wheel bracket off.
If anyone wants it, let me know via this Forum. Either pick it up from my place (Mount Pleasant and St Clair) or I will bring to the next Pilots meeting. I will supply the main gear and tail wheel with the rest of the plane. The canopy is still in place.
