We need a PA system to run glider contests. Deal extreme time frames can be ridiculous, I would much rather pay more and walk out the door with something.
(The whole contest is run from a computer program. It calls out the pilots and tasks for every group, and runs the clock for the rounds.
The same program also does the scoring. Pretty cool to use run a contest the same way they run a world championships. )

I looked on Tiger Direct and Canada Computers with no luck. In the US radio shack seems to sell them, but they are not listed at The Source.

12 volt power is better, but we could deal with 120 using inverters. That is what we do now, but the setup we have is an old Proton 300 desktop stereo system, so is not as loud as it should be.

Thanks,

Pat MacKenzie
