#2014-24
Superb coverage of a diverse range of TEMAC and other activities on a fantastic weekend, Jack.
Mita was most impressed with the folks she met at Frenchman's Bay, many of whom were amazed (astounded? incredulous? dumbfounded? astonished? bewildered?) that I was able to attract such a fine mate! 8)
And having toured the Bombardier plant at Downsview, she was thoroughly engaged in discussion with Ken Rawlins of the Dehavilland Beaver and the current Bombardier fleet.
And of course, there is nothing quite as exciting as a ride in Rob's retrieval boat and the terrific flight-line vantage point it provides. Thanks so much for your generosity and enabling this terrific unofficial club activity Rob.
A few more photos from Frenchman's Bay are now up in the photo gallery (http://temac.ca/?p=6326).
Cheers!
Andy
It's funny but my planes rarely if ever get me into the Tickler so I brought out Mya and ta daaa! lol!
Colin
Your right with a face like that and that glorious smile every Tickler is guaranteed. Next time I'll have to edit it better so only the best gets in the photo. LOL.
Jack.
Re: visit ZD's Steve Woloz and Brad Egan,
They were perfect guests.
When I told them we had a rule that they could not come to the field and not fly, they both politely declined to fly. Within an hour they both flew my Norseman and thoroughly enjoyed it. Proof they are perfectly human.

ps: Steve asked me if I were a vice president. I told him I was "the Assistant to the Assistant Greeter" and yes, I explained it to him. :D

And I suspect the padded van will be along to pick up the lot of us shortly.
OOOHH great idea then our models will not suffer in transit with a padded van.
