one of the issues i personally have is that i never know what the winds are going to be like at the field. This is an issue because all I have are parkflyers. So I have took it myself and did a little research and found a few interesting things. First thing was that this issue is also a problem with others and is brought up in other forums.
There are DIY's and very reseanable retail weather stations out there. I like this idea the best. If there is a weather underground close by. Well there happens to be one in stouffville itself. attached is the link http://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=IONWHITC4 (http://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=IONWHITC4)
It would be interesting to compare simultaneous results from this personal weather station in Stouffville (site environs and potential observation distortions unknown) to the nearest offical weather station (Buttonville Airport) and the Weather Network obs/forecast for Stouffville.
