Title: Hardware
Post by: Bigstik on July 02, 2014, 08:24:58 PM
A while back someone mentioned a source for unusual hardware. Can't remember nor did I write it down.

Anyone?

Al,

For unusual hardware I always start at Lee Valley Tools, then I call Jack Higgins, my purchasing manager. :D

Give us a hint on the type of hardware you are looking for and answers will follow suit quickly... all the way to Guelph. ;D

Hi Frank.

I'm looking for tension springs. One to two inches long. I've seen them on a particular website but can't remember which one.

and Hip Pocket plans

for the latter you need to register on the builder's forum, link at the top of the page.

Outer Zone!  That's the one.  Thanks Pat.

I registered for hip pocket a couple years ago but didn't find it very useful.  I guess I wasn't looking for anything specific at the time... kinda like now  :)
