Title: Clear over latex?

Got a painting question.  Can you use rattle can gloss clear (is that enamel?) over top latex?

I'm afraid to ask....  :o

But I would assume it wouldn't stick.

I've painted clear acetate that has held O.K., but I roughed up the surface before adding the paint.

Best to try a test on a scrap piece before committing to your model.  They you will know for sure and not have to recover your model if things go wrong.
