Title: Summertime Adventure - FPV on ground
Post by: Oscar on July 08, 2014, 01:40:57 AM
A bit off topic of Aviation.

Past weekend, I had my first FPV ground adventure.  The setup is quite standard.  Nothing fancy.  Everything are running in stock.  The only thing is the r/x and radio.  I changed it back to air radio. Control are now elevator for forward/backward; Steering is in aileron.

The experience of FPV on ground is totally different than on air.  Weight is not an issue anymore.  With 2S 8200mah, this car can run 90 minutes non-stopped.  But you still need a spotter? Why?! Because someone can take your RC and run away.   :o

Note: Please muted if you find the music disturbing.

Ground FPV sounds cool! I'm gonna FPV my corolla and drive around with fatsharks on...NOT! Lol, would be neat to myth busters to try though lol, wonder what kind of ticket that would get me? Probably a doozie! Lol
