I was so hungry when I got there late today, but glad there were still some hot dogs left.
It was a great display of planes and other flying machines-- flying lawn mowers anyone :o ?
(Definately impressed YRP and I think we may have an upcoming new member.)

Here's an unedited video of Glenn, Robert and Michael (in order of take-offs) with their biplanes.
A wonderful display of vintage flying.
Really nice guys!!

Great Video, excellent subjects all well flown. Two right wheels parting company at the same time. What's going on?

Jack.

I had a great flying day ... went through FIFTHEEN packs! I haven't done that at one flying session in about five years! The best part was no mishaps. Well, actually, no mishaps due to pilot error or reception issues etc.  I did have a wing bolt unscrew itself on my Edge 540 ... weirdest looking thing ... on an upline saw the right wing sortof "flap and swivel"!

It happened so fast I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me.  Well before you know it I was in the beans and the only reason I knew it was that was because the bolt was nowhere to be found in the crash area.  In other words had the bolt separation been a result of the crash it would have been right there with the plane. (course the "flap and swivel" manoeuver just prior to crashing THEN made sense! lol!) Anyway, practically no damage to the plane so that was good.

I also got to maiden (for me) the Culver DART which is a neat little plane and it flew great after a little trimming. Put three packs through that baby and am lovin' it!  Now I'm gonna make it a bit more "scale" by adding wheel pants.  ;)
