Great building skills on display! Way to go everyone!
In all fairness, my Tiger Moth is an ARF.
I flew it before the funfly as a demo flight, and towards the end of the funfly at the invitation of Robert and Glenn when they flew their 1/4 scale biplanes.
We know but who cares. It looked good and was an example of the level of finish we all hope we can achieve one day.
Jack.
What a great mini fun fly!
It was really nice to see so many builder's creations at the field on Sunday. From fancy and sophisticated to more modest, every model at the field, that day, held more meaning and greater satisfaction for the owner.
Congratulations to everyone who has the skills, determination, focus, and passion required to create a flying, model, aircraft.
What about the people who build crashing aeroplanes?
you they get more building to do ;)
OK I think it's time to ban the word 'crash'.
We can replace it with "landing with force, speed and a loud noise".
We could adopt a culture of landing with force, speed and a loud noise?
Any better suggestions???
Jack.
High speed ground connection? ;)
"Landed 3 inches too low!"
"Bought the farm."
Twelve-point landing!!
