Title: Multiplex Pilatus PC-6
Post by: Bigstik on August 18, 2014, 04:11:47 PM
Maidened my new airplane at the Humber Valley Float Fly on Sunday. Held at Indian Line Campground.
Aircraft is Elapor foam, comes complete with motor, esc, and 6 servos. Using Spektrum AR8000X rx. 3 cell 2200 lipo.
Flew great right of the water, no problem or quirks.  ;D

Ugh!   I meant to go to that float fly (I told Peter I would), but had my plans changed for me!

Congrats on the test flight on floats.  The plane looks great!

So how was the float fly?

A very good turnout, about a dozen fliers. the usual planes, FZ Beavers, Icon A5, four including mine, Tidewaters, One Turbo Beaver and a 'Coot' amphib.
Weather was very good, a little breezy, but manageable.
It's an hour drive for me, but worth it since I haven't found anything locally.

Thanks, Al.  I plan for next time.
