Title: Horizan Hobby goes FPV
Post by: Oscar on August 28, 2014, 08:59:15 PM
Horizon Hobby announced they are partner with FatShark FPV and release the first indoor FPV.  It's going to use the Vapor (the slow vapor) as the FPV plane.

In other demo video, HH is talking about using the micro FPV system and mount to the UM P-51 and flying indoor.  Also, introducing a mid-size FPV system and mount on a Delta Ray (another beginner airplane with SAFE technology).

I wonder, won't it be quite dangerous while flying in an indoor flying.  Maybe that's why they are using the Vapor because it's so light and slow.  But with UMX P-51 or others UMX plane in indoor .... I am not sure...

The product they are introducing from HH, is a short radio range which according to the demo, it doesn't require a HAM license.

Here is another upcoming micro 4 CH Sport Cub with SAFE technology but with FPV ready.  The UM Sport Cub equipped with SAFE technology and suppose to replace the old HH CHAMP.  I just can't imagine someone who has never fly a plane before and add a FPV to teach yourself to fly.   :o
