I don't know about the rest of you guys, but Sunday September 7 was pretty much the best day of flying I've ever had at TEMAC. Perfect temperatures, bright sunshine, unlimited visibility, north wind at 5-10K... what more could you ask? (Well, maybe a bit of thermal activity -- there wasn't much). I spent 4 hours at the field and left with zero damage to 5 planes after greasing all my landings onto the runway (those of you who know me will understand the sense of accomplishment!). I hope we get a few more days like this one before end of season.
Yes. I heard it was very nice. I'm sorry I missed it!
It was a great afternoon; lots of amazing flying!
Congrats Gordon. Now I'm very jealous.
i know i was (of Gordon and Glenn) Great flying guys!!
Great stuff, Gordon!
I was at the field before heading to Frenchman's Bay.
It was like an impromptu fun fly!
Sunday was a great day flying out Ottawa way too. Congrats on your maintenance free day!
I went to the field in the morning. Despite the sun, it was great to fly. I took the biplanes out for a spin, as well maiden the pop-wing and the T-45. (Bruce, thank you for hand launching the planes for me). 8)
Nice work Gordon! It does feel good to have a day like that.
Sunday was excellent! Lots of good flying, some exciting wrecks, float planes at Frenchmans Bay, what else can you ask for?
Nice shot of the 109 Greg.
Thanks
