Title: Scale fun with balsa scraps
Post by: Gregor77 on May 21, 2015, 07:41:06 AM
Well I hope that this can be used for other projects. I know that we have a talented group of pilots and builders in the club.   Stuck at home with baby Sophia has now made me venture to some smaller topics that are still plane related. I was working on 1/6 action figures by dragon and was making a temp airfield for my hangar 9 60 size bf109 and 50 spitfire. I rummaged through my scrap wood bin and found lots of shapes and sizes. So I made a chair, table and map board. I used some images off the net to print a flight and battle map. I also printed and made some magazines for the table. My next item is a bench and a work horse for cutting wood. Enjoy.

Nice!  Is that a scale picnic rug that they've set up camp on?  ;D

I would have done it outside. But that is as close as I had to grass. Lol.

Although I was proud of making the table and stuff. I never saw Carmen laugh that much before.

I think you had better build something that those action figures can go into!!! ;)
