I just want to say thanks for your response, guys, to the plane sales from my friend's estate. All models and equipment are now sold. This lady really needed the help and you stepped up big time.
See you all at the next pilot's meeting where I'll have all the planes sold ready for pick up.
Eric
Hi Eric, I will buy #6/ Multiplex Cularis glider.
Stephan
Eric sent you a pm
i'll take the Park Zone Stinson SR 10
Hi Bjerne;
I'll pick up the Stinson as its still at the lady's house in Aurora. There were just too many planes to pile in my car. Will you be at the next TEMAC pilot's meeting? I can deliver it there or meet you somewhere in Newmarket to hand it off before then if you want.
Thanks so much!
Eric
Hey Eric
I plan to come to the meeting
But if its easier we can meet earlier
:D I'm glad to help out
BJ.
Hi Bjerne;
Its easiest for me if I bring it to the meeting as I still have to make arrangements to pick up the plane. Thanks for your willingness to help out!
Eric
Hi Eric,
I buy the E-Flite BAE Hawk 15 DF and the EDF with motor for CAD$130.
See you on the next pilot meeting.
Thanks,
Philip
You got it Philip. Its a gorgeous model. Thanks!
Eric
Eric,
I'll take the Calypso if it's still around.
Mike
Hi Mike;
Yes, the Calypso's still available at $90.00. I've put your name on it. Its quite a nice unit: motor, ESC, Tactic receiver and 4 servos all included, brand new in the box and never even been unpacked. Just add a battery and you're off. I'll bring it to the pilot's meeting unless you want it sooner. If you do, we can meet up somewhere to make the switch. Do you have one of those Anylinks for your radio?
Eric
Eric,
I think the pilots meeting will be fine. I'll let you know if it doesn't.
I'm not sure if I'll use the tactic system or just throw in an orange I have laying around.
Mike
Hi Mike;
I have an Anylink module (the original one, not the Anylink 2) that was in a pile of stuff I took out of her house. If you want it, let me know and I'll bring it with the plane to the meeting. Like everything else, its new in the box and never been used.
Eric
Ok Thanks Eric, let me think about it.
Hi Eric. If the Beaver is still available I will take it.
Hi Rob;
The Beaver's yours. I'll bring it to the pilot's meeting on the 9th. OK?
Eric
great thanks Eric. See you on the 9th
Eric,
I will take the Golden Oriole for $50.00
Rob (Octagon), that E-Flite Beaver is a terrific airplane. I have had it for about 5 years and flies incredibly well. Great price.
Thanks Eric for letting us benefit from a friend's misfortune.
Frank
ps: I will be at the meeting on the 9th
Great, Frank! Your name's on the Oriole.

Thanks Frank. Did you do your plane with a 25 or a 32? I am thinking the 32 so it will have enough power for floats, but I like the idea of the "scaleness" of the 25.
ps: I will be at the meeting on the 9th
Rob,
To answer your questions
- mine has a Power 25 and is overpowered. On floats, put a 32 on it per their recommendation.
- make sure you dial in about 3 degrees of down elevator trim with flaps. Without trim, my plane loops when deploying flaps anything above half throttle.
- Most flying is done at 3/4 throttle. I don't know if I have ever flown it at full throttle.

I use a Power 32 in mine. I don't dial in down elev because flaps are usually used at less than half throttle, and I like to fly it like a real plane.
And Frank's planes always loop, no matter what he dials in. ;D
Andy
Are you implying Frank is loopy?
Mini-Funtana X sold!
Andy,
re: your "And Frank's planes always loop, no matter what he dials in. ;D"
At least my airplane loops. :D That's a lot more than yours does after what happened two weeks ago.*
Your best buddy,
Frank
* For those who are not up to date with Andy's activities, his E-Flite Beaver bought the farm two weeks ago. His loop could best be described as a figure 9, a dirt-eating, hole digging, bunker busting, worm burning, seismic shocker, a 7.0 on the Richter scale type flight. He says he will re-build it. I will make sure even if I have to do the work for him. 8)
If the Park Zone Radian is still available, I'll take it.

I'm sure you will all appreciate that I have been inspired by none but the master auger himself! ;D
Andy
How much does this dialogue define Temac! I am proud to be a member in such a great club!
Hi Frank;
The Radian is yours. I'll bring it to the pilot's meeting next Wednesday. If that's not good for you, send me a PM and we'll make arrangements.
Apprentice sold to ClarkY. Thanks!
Andy,
re: "I'm sure you will all appreciate that I have been inspired by none but the master auger himself! ;D"
The photos clearly prove that I am a farmer and harvest model airplanes from time to time when they ripen in the field. I take them home and (p)repair them as you would a dinner.
The verb is not "to auger". I prefer descriptive words like "tilling the soil" so more model airplanes will grow and need my help. :D
Frank
* your post also clearly proves that he who has the photos has the upper hand. You can walk around and say "I didn't crash the Beaver, prove it" and I can't. Dammit! :(

Proof positive that I have learned Frank's tillage lessons well !! :D
(Wing has been repaired; new firewall and battery tray in progress.)
