This definitely will be a great plane to build. It will be fun to fly off water / land / snow.

That is sooo cool! I wanna build one! ;D Oh wait ... I still haven't finished about three planes in the queue. :o Crap! :)

Wow! Sea Duck looks like huge fun! The water handling in the video surpasses just about any water plane I've seen...water donuts for crying out loud! In the air...hovering and looks easy inverted??? Wow!
Timely post for me Oscar...I've just bought a waterfront property so I can fly floatplanes ;D now all I need is the pontoon boat!
Looks like great fun.
Bill,
What you need is dedicated friends (like me) who fly off water (like me) to keep you company and help you to enjoy your waterfront.
Flite Test released the step by step video. All you need is a Laptop / Tablet next to your build table and follow the step. The video is about 2hrs 13mins long. Very detail build video. :D

Great find, Oscar. One more for my build list. Better save up for another case of dollar store foam boards.... :D
I notice it has a flat bottom hull instead of the traditional V-shape hull as seen on most seaplanes. I have zero experience on flying off water and not too sure of the pros and cons with flat bottom hulls on RC planes. My main pro for flat bottom hull is it's easy to implement!
Flat bottoms on hulls works great. It does have a step under the centre of gravity which is a must.
