Title: UMX B-25 Mitchell review
Post by: Oscar on June 16, 2016, 10:33:01 AM
This plane runs on 1s300mah. With all the passed Horizon Hobby  multi-motors UMX planes released, I think they finally got the design right.

Wind was 12-13km/h during my maiden. And it flies like a big plane. I like the scale look of takeoff and so I took the advantage of our runway (it can take off within 15feet). The ground handling is superb with the design of nose steering. It tracks straight when taking off.

I am very impress with the handling. With the AS3X technology, the B-25 flies like the 3s plane. With the twin motors, it can fly pretty fast (remember this is a 1s plane) or slow down to a walking speed.

Overall, I think this is a great backyard/park plane. Perfect to bring along to the cottage.

P.S. You dont need to order online.  I got mine from Pinnacle Hobby.

I watched a film in the 80s with my Dad called "Mitchell's do fly in IMC" about 5 B-25s crossing the Atlantic to film Hannover Street. It's a very fond memory of mine. I'm tempted to get one of these as a reminder...

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
