Title: Short Maiden Flight of a $20 Buck Flight Controller Board
Post by: Candu on July 27, 2016, 10:17:41 PM
I picked up this auto pilot while it was on sale for $19.95. It's back to original price now.

Spent a couple of weeks installing it on my born-again HobbyKing EPP FPV test platform and bench testing it. Worked great on the bench.

Here's a short video of it's maiden flight from a couple of days ago. Obviously more testing required and now I know why most models are painted white! ;D

Too bad Frank.
What was impressive however, was the flight data record, which led you to the crash site?  Great!

The log data was stored on board the plane...
