So our annual funfly is next Sunday, August 28. What are you bringing to the field...besides a sense of humour? :D
I usually bring 8-10 planes and fly what I feel like on the day. For sure:
- EF-1- Pogo
- Nooner
- .60 size pattern plane
- Hammer with an EF1 racing motor... hand launch
- Siren not-so-hotliner (warm liner?)
- Micro Pitts 18" span
- GWS C-130
The others are TBA
Frank
i'll turn a few laps with you using my shoestring as for the other planes (lets see what i have that can still fly :) )
Greg
One of the planes I would have been flying at this years Funfly was the Sig Clipped Wing Cub, which I re-kitted this morning. It might be repaired by the 2017 funfly though .........
Otherwise I will be bringing out an array of models that will entertain and fascinate the mind.
I will also bring out some aircraft too (if I have any left).
I look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday................ With or without a plane :o
The big question is.... will Andy be there to bother entertain us?
Frank
Well I'm not bringing Andy, but I will bring some racers, my noisy Vampire and probably a warbird or 2.
That Vampire flies and sounds fantastically!
Everyone should go just to see and hear it fly!
Simon! you have a Vampire?
I sure do
Simon,
re: your post :"I will bring some racers, my noisy Vampire and probably a warbird or 2".
Why are you cutting down to four planes! You usually bring 8 ... and 24 batteries!! :D
and:
Oh, so now the plane is noisy. Better than the pilot being noisy. ;D
Frank
Some of the morning flyers could bring their Warwings for some combat? Bruce could bring his is he was able to repair his streamer from our last combat.

Who wants what?
Hey Andy,
In one short flight you can win the "lowest pass", "the most entertaining flight" and the "oh, no, that wasn't meant to happen" awards. ;D
I will help you walk the bean fields to recover the plane.
You have the unique talent to pull it off! ;)

Donation:
Another reason you need to be at the event tomorrow:
John's Hobbies donated a Robbe foam Sea-Bee kit 1.1 meter span. The kit includes a brushless motor and a 20 amp ESC.
The Club's brain trust will decide to offer it as a prize or to use it at the auction.
Frank
if that wasn't enough reason here are a few more ;)
Pinnacle donated a UMX Habu s DF180 BNF, two lipo bags, and two $20 dollar gift cards
Great Hobbies donated three $25 dollar gift cards and a $10 dollar card
A big thank you to the hobby shops that support us ... please do the same and support them!!
See you all tomorrow
Greg

Greg
It was a great time. Thanks for everyone's efforts in organizing and production. Many thanks to the sponsoring local hobby shops. Always nice to see many of the club members out.
It was unfortunate I had to leave early, but my wife's birthday took precedence. ::)
Bruce,
re "but my wife's birthday took precedence. ::)"
Smart boy! You will now live longer. :D

Re - "Smart boy! You will now live longer."
No. It's just natural survival instinct.
