I don't think it is a blimp. :)
It is not lighter than air and flies on the lift from the wings.
They might be reducing the weight by filling the fuse with something lighter than air :)
There was an earlier smaller one of these by Martin Mueller (inventor of the shock flyer and indoor aerobatic flying as we know it) that flew both with air or helium filling it.
Just flew slower when filled with helium.

At the end of the video in the first post it looks like it might be Martin Miller who is flying this new bigger one. Hard to tell because there is only a brief shot of him from the side.

Hmmm... I agree. After I made my firm statement above, I thought about the "lighter than air", or at least neutral buoyancy, aspect of a blimp. As you say Pat, even though it's VERY light, it's still flying on the wing.
