Title: TEMAC Skills Challenge 2018
Post by: RogMason on September 27, 2018, 08:26:12 PM
Here's a short video of the 'Limbo' event from Sunday's skills challenge..

For those who weren't able to attend, there were many challenges, 'Limbo', 'Bomb Drop', Aircraft Carrier take off and landing (A described area on the grass representing the carrier deck),  10 second dash (10 seconds of full power engine vertically, followed by gliding down and a dead stick landing.  Last one down wins).  Ironically Simon took that award, as his aircraft flew so high in the allotted 10 seconds, it was lost from sight, never to be seen again!  His award is the closing footage :-)

I took a few minutes of video of the 'Limbo' event and a nice bi-plane display at the end of the day courtesy of Michael, Rob and Glenn. Here's a dropbox link to the video, I hope it gives you the 'flavour' of the day. Enjoy.  https://www.dropbox.com/s/yoqb7i0x3ko95le/TEMAC%20Skills%20Challenge%202018%201080p.mp4?dl=0

Very nice video.  That music was ideal for the biplane flight.

I need to get my butt in gear and join the biplane fly next year with my Se5a.  And doesn't Cadez have, like 25 1/4 scale WWI aircraft?
