Yikes... sorry to hear about your transmitter getting bricked.  Is Spektrum going to look after it?

Thanks for the warning.

What did you say?  I know one of our club DXe trims no longer work.

As for my understanding of the problem and how to correct it...

Would going through Android help at all?

I don't have Android app. You could try though. Create a brand new model in Android app. Load to DXe and see if trims work properly.

I think the issue is the firmware update wrecks the trims.

I thought we might be able to re-update the firmware using Android, but it doesn't look like it.  I don't have the PC cable.  Bring your PC cable and I'll bring Android and it's cables.  We'll shove them together and see if anything starts to smoke.

I have an old Taranis with v1 OpenTx and have decided not to upgrade the firmware for the type of reason you talk about here, Richard.

It works, so I figure why even try to update it. Heck, Frank is still 72Mhz!!  ;D

But I'm sorry you're having this trouble.

Hi Simon:

I wanted to use the DXe during student training -  guess I won't be now.

But I'm sorry you're having this trouble.

When I'm not using my DXe to make Instructors shakes their heads, it's available for use by anyone else.

Call horizon, they are well known for having excellent service.

If the upgrade has caused a known issue, they will almost assuredly correct things.
