Title: Brantford Airshow video
Post by: RogMason on September 06, 2019, 08:42:04 AM

Guys,
In case you didn't get an opportunity to attend the Brantford Charity Airshow this year, here's an 8 min video compilation of 'some' of the action.  Honestly, I had no idea what to expect but was absolutely impressed with the displays and the quality of presentation.  I highly recommend it for next year if you are thinking of going.  Hey, it's free!  Doesn't get much better than that!

BTW, it was announced that Brantford will be the only airshow from now on that the Lancaster will attend (how privileged are we?).  I imagine engine runtime is eeking away and they are preserving the aircraft accordingly.  Long pre-show trips to OshKosh etc, chew up that precious time quickly.  Merlins are becoming the achillies-heel of flying WWII warbirds.

This is definitely of the 'Home Movie' caliber but I hope it demonstrates the fun, interest and enjoyment that can be had from a worthwhile charity event.  Air Show free - parking $20.  Great deal!
