Title: Fidget Galloping Ghost
Post by: octagon on April 28, 2020, 03:32:58 PM
I was going to start on the BUSA Laker, and may do, but I was perusing old plans looking for something interesting. I cam across a design from the 60 called the Fidget, a 36 inch span plane made for an old galloping ghost system. At first I thought I would just build it with modern micro servos, but apparently there is a fellow producing modern GG actuators that just plug into any modern receiver, but perform like the systems from the 60s. The throttle is controlled by a modern ESC. I have emailed the fellow producing the modern GG system, but either way I think I will start building this little guy.
