Title: Revolver 70
Post by: abbydawn on October 05, 2020, 01:57:50 PM
Flew one through thick and thin for many years until ................... later. Now back in stock at a few outlets and I couldn't resist. Of course as many know the weak part is the landing gear which got me on the first flight back when. There are no mods to the gear in the latest ARF and so on mine I have modified it per the pics below. The sloped back gear puts extra pressure on the landing gear plate. My addition of aluminum plate bolted to the front side of the firewall should relieve it considerable along with extra support added inside. Oh yes about my .......... later above. The wings on these have but one bolt to the fuselage. Got distracted by those around me and left one out. In a half loop turn around over a mature cornfield (//)a spectacular ending.

Very cool. My Revolver 70 is one of my staple planes that I fly all the time.

FYI, my power setup:
Rimfire 1.20
Phoenix ICE 100
16x8e or 16x10e
6s 5000mah

And you fly it so well, Ben. I love watching you fly it.
