Title: WWII RAF Pilot, Tony Gaze...
Post by: RogMason on December 11, 2020, 03:52:34 PM

Chaps,
This really interesting link starts off about a couple of ordinary, contemporary Aussie blokes acquiring an old glider originally built in the UK by Slingsby -- which may or may not still be in business, at Kirkbymoorside, Yorkshirepuddingshire -- and then it evolves into one of those amazing "Whatever happened to...?" WWII stories that could ONLY have come from England ... with an Aussie twist.

What an accomplished pilot Tony Gaze was?
