Not exactly an RC topic guys, so my apologies in advance but it is an interesting 'Battery' story.

It seems that Jaguar has announced a programme where a classic Jaguar car, can have the engine removed and an electric package installed in its place.  Lots of caveats at the moment - short range - huge cost but it's a start.
Imagine businesses popping up everywhere, where you can take your favourite, clapped out classic from the barn and have a clean EV package installed in place of the leaking, greasy, smelly petrol engine and powertrain?  And for the purists who like the smell of petrol leaking back into the cabin, I'm sure someone will introduce an aerosol that 'smells' like the real thing?

Very cool, Roger.  Zero EV has been doing this for a while now.  Watch their YouTube series on converting a Miata.  The electronics are beautiful.
