Title: SuperMon
Post by: sihinch on October 15, 2021, 08:36:52 AM
I've wanted one of these for years and could never justify it.....but the supplier is on his last stock of foam.  So I got one!

It's a 46" FlyGuy v2 designed by Otto Dieffenbach and the kit is made by https://hoosiercutoutservice.com/

I'm building it as Superman, as you can see......or SuperMon (like Super Simon, get it!?  ;D)

Hope to have it ready for Halloween!

Great idea @sihinch , it will look great for Halloween.
I downloaded the plans a few years ago, but other projects took over.
Please keep us posted on your progress and test flight.

Simon,

I watched the second video.  Imagine the calls to 911 if you ever accidentally fly over Stouffville Road.
Some kid in a car is going to be convinced there really is a Superman.... and he lives in Stouffville. ;D

Greg,

re: "There is already a superman in Stouffville! "

.... and instead of an "S" on his cape, he has a "VW" symbol.

Simon,

I love the video!  It looks so real.
Now make a tether and attach it to your Space Shuttle.   ;) :D :D
