New member Geoff McIlmoyle joins us from a model club near Peterborough.
He passed his check flight last Thursday morning with flying colours.  He made the runway many times during the 3 flights even though there is no requirement to hit the runway* to pass the flight test.  Safety is more important than style.

Frank

* a good landing needs 3 elements i) wheels pointing down ii) airplane in one piece iii) on any part of the cut grass runway.  Hitting the runway is a bonus.

Thanks Frank for meeting up for the flight check.  Great field and club...looking forward to meeting fellow enthusiasts of RC planes and some great times ahead!
