Title: Winter flying!
Post by: Michael on November 28, 2021, 03:44:31 PM
When I saw the snow coming down, I installed skis onto one of my planes (customized Sig Kadet).

I met David and Glenn at the field, and we had some fun flying in the snowfall. The powdery takeoffs and landings were especially fun.

It wasn't too cold (about 1 degrees), and visibility was poor due to the heavy snow coming down, but the wind was almost non-existent, and the ground was cushion-soft.

There is a good accumulation of snow on the driveway, but we drove in and out without problems.

There were already some footprints there, so we presume that other members may have flown earlier.

It is fun!

Time to break out the ski's or make something fun that works!
