I will be at Rogo Field 10 am January 1 for a New Year's flight regardless of the weather....as I have done for the last 32 years. Yes, I will start off with a coffee at Tim's (Woodbine) before and return there after the flight.
Several New Years have been delightful and I spent an hour at an RC field....but several years have been brutally cold and miserable and a stretch to even finish one circuit.
Please do not ask "why". :D Certain things in life should not be questioned......like our fascination with model airplanes. :D

Already got the wife's pre-approval. Will be there for sure.
Only year I missed was when I had broken ribs caused by a fall Christmas Eve. Even then, I was there, I just didn't fly. I'll be there probably with the Widgeon.
