Title: 2023 summer gear
Post by: Michael on February 09, 2023, 08:18:23 PM
I'm really looking forward to enjoying time at the field this coming (warm) season.

In order to remain comfortable and safe, I bought a canopy chair, a hat that shields from UV rays, and a 46 ounce thermos.

I hope all members enjoy themselves this summer, and keep safety as a priority at all times.

We will be flying soon. All flyers are required to pay for their 2023 TEMAC and MAAC memberships before flying at TEMAC.

Here is my new gear for the spring.
Some people call it a walker.  I call it a portable pilot station.
All I need to do is put orange netting on the front 3 sides.

Had my right knee replacement surgery last Thursday afternoon.

Frank

ps: Thanks to Mark Satin for driving Cynthia and me home after the surgery, to Rob D. for volunteering and Andy for not getting involved.  ;)

@Frank v B  I love your portable pilot station.
Kick it around for a trial session.
Keep a leg up on things.
You will be jumping with joy if it is accepted as the new golden standard of flight stations.
Get better soon!
Guy

The integrated, collapsible pin-friendly build table must be just out of frame in that pic.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Frank!

Frank,

Wishing you a fast recovery.

PD: An adaptation is needed to put the radio.  8)

If I know Frank, he'll figure out how to put wings , tailfeathers and a motor on the walker.
Now that's a maiden I would pay to see!  ;D

Speedy recovery Frank!
