Title: Question
Post by: Crash on March 16, 2023, 10:03:51 AM
To Club Execs:

I have a couple of new built fliteTest foam airplanes that are hand launched and registered with TC & Wilco. The motor on each plane
is drone motor 2205 out-runners, they do have buzz noise, can I continue to fly these, I will try in future to build with Eflite motors. These do not fly fast. Please advise if I can continue. I am RPAS certified, etc.
Regards
Mike Brodey

Hi Mike,

I take it your question is about noise level from your plane.  Have you found anything in TC Part IX that has made you raise this concern?  I've had a quick look and didn't find anything.
Let me know if you've found something and we can review it.

I saw excessive noise in the notes above., I thought based on whining motors.

Those notes refer to me whining about our SOC.
