Flying conditions at TEMAC this afternoon were a lot of fun - except during the downpour at about 4:00 pm. Before the rain winds were 20 gusting 30 from the south. The menacing clouds moved in quickly from the north at 3:50, allowing just enough time to stow my planes and myself in my car before the skies opened up. Time to drive back to Tim's at Woodbine for a coffee and an apple fritter. Clearing skies then enticed me back to the field for a few final flights, this time with strong winds from the north, ushered in by the cold front that brought the rain.
I'm still trying to figure out why nobody else came out .... 😎
