Title: Morning Crew NOTAM - Sept 7, 2024 - 10:40 am
Post by: Andy Hoffer on September 07, 2024, 10:46:54 AM
Field conditions: Beautiful!

Mix of sun and low cumulus clouds.

Chilly - dress warm (toques and fleeces recommended).

Winds NW gusting to 27 Km/h at 6' AGL.

Very flyable with the right aircraft.

The ospreys are having no problems!!

Andy

@Andy Hoffer sounds more like a PIREP than a NOTAM...  ;)

Captain @GuyOReilly is quite correct, but I wanted to convey the proper sense of urgency and gravity of the conditions.  PIREPs are useful when you are already in the air; NOTAMs are more focused on flight planning ahead of departure, e.g. when you are thinking about whether you want to potentially put your precious aircraft in harm's way.  In this case the NOTAM gives you a glimpse into what is doing at the TEMAC aerodrome !!!  ;D

Respectfully, First Officer Hoffer !!
