What a perfect day. Rogo Field was as busy as Pearson...except no Pilots' strike in sight.
Photo report:
08: Peter and his large Revolver.
10: David matches his hat to his airplane colours
11: Simon prepping his belly-flopping airplane. Wild flying but two pancakes saved the day.
12: Guy prepping his Tiger moth.
14: Guy. The only missing colour is pink. The brown is not visible on the back of his pants after the take-off. A micrometer was needed to measure the clearance with the edge of the runway grass.
17: Glenn with his Reactor bipe. Great flying as usual.
20: Ken bought David's Carbon Cub. Great to see him back as a member.
22: David and his Piper Pawnee. Note Mark's same plane in the background.
25: which one of these two characters is the used car salesman? Greg and Andy.
Casualty of the day- Vadim lost his EF-1 racer. A bad crash. He will be ready for the EF-1 races next weekend.
I left just as the afternoon crowd arrived. Kenny, Loi, Manni and the gang.
Frank
Great day today!
Profile - Guy O'Reilley's Beautiful Smith Miniplane Biplane
There is a wonderful story attached to the original plane on which this model is based. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAUMnJhYoas

Thank you for the great pictures
@Andy Hoffer .
I understand that
@piker has a kit awaiting construction... a winter project?
How about formation flying with
@bruce and his Smith Miniplane?
Three in the air at once... humm... Something to think about.
Superb idea
@GuyOReilly Can't wait to photograph the formation flight!
