Title: Hawker Sea Fury
Post by: davidk on December 15, 2024, 04:48:52 PM
This is the motor mount for the PlanePrint Hawker Sea Fury.

Rene includes the down and right thrust degrees print into the part.
And he always tells us which way is up... which is handy.

Pretty cool.

This is about as close as I've come to running out of filament while printing.  If I were using PLA I would have run out.  However, I'm using LW-PLA which is an Active Foaming filament which foams at a certain temperature producing a light weight, bubble filled plasted.  Instead of the Flow Ratio being about 100% for PLA, LW-PLA Flow ratio is .6 which means I'm using just over half the filament compared to PLA.
