We will be barbequing hotdogs starting around noon on Sunday, May 25, 2025.
We'll have some drinks as well, all free to TEMAC members.
This is, of course, dependent on the weather. I'll confirm on Friday May 23. *
Please respond here in this thread if you'll be joining us, so we can have an idea as to how much to buy.
* The weather forecast for Sunday is now showing some rain, with clearing in the afternoon. Hopefully it will improve. I will decide on confirming or postponing the BBQ tomorrow.
The BBQ is on!
I will be there! Thanks Michael!
I'll be there!....no matter the weather.
High probability of no snow is good enough for me. ;)
Frank
will most likely be out if its a nice day with no work.
I plan to attend.
The other Paul
I'll be there! Thanks Michael!
Robert
I'll be there... cheers!
Thanks, I'll be there
Thank you. I'll be there.
Neat that Rob Pike is coming. For those of you who have never met him, be prepared to be impressed with his personality, flying and building ability.
Now if we can only get Ben Feist* to confirm his attendance..... ;D
Should be a fun day.
Frank
ps: * Ben, bring your Sailaire, I am trying to get my 12' quarter scale DG 300 glider ready to maiden this day. Glenn should be attending with his large glider if he gets back from out of town the day before this BBQ.
Thanks, I will be there....
Karl
I'll be there.
Thanks for organizing. I'm hungry already!! I'll be there to supervise Frank and hopefully eat 2 hot dogs.
Do you need help picking up dogs, buns, condiments, drinks, etc?
@Michael /
@davidk /
@marks /
@octagon please let me know if I can help.
Andy
Thank you Michael, I will come as well.
Regards
Mikey
I'll do my best to be there!
I'm coming
I have a pop up canopy that I can bring - weather looks iffy
depending on which app you want to believe!

I know there is a chance of rain but there will be a 100% chance of me showing up. I plan to be there by 10. If Michael has to cancel the hot dog lunch for rational reasons we can always revert to Plan B*.
Frank
* pizza, Tim's, nothing. ;)
The BBQ is a go!
Despite a less than ideal weather forecast, we are on!
See you all on Sunday! What's happened to the weather? Feel like I'm back in the UK!
What a beautiful day if you were there to fly. If you were there to work on your tan you would have been disappointed.
Windy, gusty with wind from the north and mostly down the runway.
Executive Summary
- great day
- the parking lot was full.
- the (hot)dogs were great.
- Rob Pike showed up- first time in 3 years. Welcome back.

Really cool to see Glenn's "dolly" get the large gliders launched.
