Title: Flying this weekend?
Post by: Michael on October 27, 2005, 07:23:00 PM
The weather is supposed to be about 14 decgrees C. this Sunday. I may go fly outdoors one more time this season at TEMAC.

Has anyone been there recently? How's the grass? Can we still take off and land?

I was at TEMEC field twice this week.

Grass is short.  The farm's harvester is hard at work.  Beautiful field.

I'm sure we'll enjoy it this weekend.

Nice weekend for flying.  Unfortunately, I couldn't make it out.

How was it, guys?

I was there on Sunday and caught up with Michael and Glen and the Moses brothers came up too and so did Simon. I heard there were also some flyers on Saturday too. The  weather was good for flying this weekend!

Daniel Pollit was also there, flying a pusher-F-15.

The wind was very mild in the morning, but picked up from the west around noon. Otherwise a great flying day except for one landing by Glenn. Ouch!
