Hopefully the weather will hold out. I am planning to be at Rogo to fly just after lunch this Sunday. If anyone needs help maidening an airplane, re-trimming one or need a check flight, come and join us.
Will try to fly my large 12' power glider again for the second time with Glenn's help. I need his dolly (a crate with wheels) in order to take off. Also need Glenn's flying talents to bring it back in one piece.

The day was a little cool, warmed up, crosswind...just to bug us....hazy skies from the wildfires. It made white planes really hard to see.
Eventful Day for some of us.
Photo report:
02- Mark before the successful maiden of his PoleStar.
04- Alex before the successful maiden of his Revolver 40....with a 60 of course because that is what Piker recommended.
06- Dr. DidLittle talking to Jacks, Alex's dog. Apparently they speak the same language. ;D
07- Michael was kind enough to retrieve my Mustang with a Power 46 on 5 cells...or was he trying to steal it?
08- Andy was kind enough to retrieve my Chica after a long landing...or was he trying to steal it?
10- Glenn in the process of assembling his 12' glider.
11- Andy was kind enough to bring my DG300 (12'span) to the flight line.... or was he trying to steal it?
Unfortunately my glider's flight went very badly. Once I get the pieces out of the car I will try to figure out what went wrong. It crashed in the lumber Yard behind us. Absolutely no control. It will be re-built.
Will download the two black boxes tonight.
The CVR* will probably be 25 repeats of the F-bomb, two for every loop.

* CVR is one of the two black boxes. It is the Cockpit Voice Recorder
Sorry to hear about you loss of control of your glider.
I had a similar issue with my Seniorita when it just glided in the south field (no damage). Unsure why the radio stopped responding?!? Let me know what you find and I may trace my issue the same way.
