Title: Dollarama chuck glider RC conversion
Post by: sihinch on June 15, 2025, 08:54:10 PM
Hi TEMAC friends! I hope you're all enjoying the Spring flying? I've not found a new club near us yet, but can fly small stuff on our property.

A new flying friend did an RC conversion of a Dollarama chuck glider and challenged me to do one, also. And wow - are they fun to fly! Like a cross between a mini pylon racers & pattern plane.

3 channel (TAE) on 2S just using left over parts (8A ESC and 2 x 5g servos.) Most of the "construction" is demolishing the airframe with a soldering iron to make space. I'm sure you could follow my pics to create one yourself if you wanted to.

They really do fly amazing! Seriously. Champ for size comparison. Flying weight with 300mAh lipo is 112g
