I was at the field today, it was HOT!
The plane was not performing as expected and I assumed that it was the density altitude calculated as 7,000 feet or so.
Unfortunately, it was something else...

I had the same thing, it was wrapped around the tail wheel!
We try to keep up with the bits and pieces of the runway. E.g. we know the middle, middle section of the tape need replacing. On a hot day... it's too hot... and that's all we've had so far. Also, the runway fabric temp gets insane on a hot day so you can't kneel while taping. It will be done sometime soon. However, if anyone does see a bit of string, etc. that need clipping, please go ahead and trim it. Thanks to all those who keeps things neat and tidy at our beautiful field.
