It was windy at TEMAC today, but I still had a few nice flights.

Philip was there, Len came by to maiden a new model, and apparently I just missed Frank.

Anyway, I had a great time at the Kingston funfly over the weekend, but there was one model I brought but didn't fly.
My Hangar 9 60-size P51D Blue-nose Mustang stayed grounded because of some radio programming problems with the flaps. Anyway, I fixed it this morning and decided to go up to TEMAC to have a go at it. The wind was fairly strong but it was consistent and straight down the runway from the north, perfect for a 10-pound warbird.

I flew the model twice, each flight with nice takeoff, mild aerobatics, low passes, and smooth full-flap landings with no nose-overs.

I flew a couple other models, and Philip seemed to be having a nice time flying some medium-size models, and doing quite well in the wind.

Congrats on the successful flights. I can't believe you brought a 60 size plane to Kingston that didn't fly, though you do have an enormous truck.
