Hey Guys,
The KW Flying Dutchman club is having their annual swap meet on Saturday 21st. From what I understand it is usually a good one. Here is the link. I will be going, so if anyone wants to ride along it will serve 2 purposes. 1. company, and 2. less room for me to buy things!

What could possibly go wrong?

Rob,  I am game... if you have room on your roof rack.  Prefer feet pointing forward so I don't get bugs in my teeth. ;D

Will make final arrangements the day before when we know how many people are coming.

Hey Frank. You don't have to worry about riding on the roof rack, at least not on the way out. With any luck we will have a strong west wind and it will cut down on the wind chill you experience on the way home.

I am in!  Where are we meeting?  Robs place again?

Temac's Swap Meet Team went to Kitchener this morning and had a great time.  Rob Dickinson, Gregor, Glenn and I were there for the opening bell.  Three of us were the first in line...or, another way to look at it.... the first to be refused early entry until the official opening bell. ;D

Two observations: 1) many people were getting rid of IC motors at distress prices (.46 for $30) and 2) there were quite a few good deals on electric stuff.

The most successful approach is not to set your heart on anything but buy whatever item is a fantastic value.  I bought 6 motors (a .60 for $30, a 650 watt 28mm in-runner for $10), a complete Graupner Electro UHU kit for $25.  This was the first electric plane that flew really well and started the brushed motor era.  A bit of a nostalgia trip.

Worth the trip.
