Careful what you wish for.  You and I have both been down the unemployment route before.  It sucks big time.  No work means no money and that definitely means no flying.    Simon's wish is from strength... being over-worked and having a responsible job.
Now back to work... so we can afford to fly.

its why we get up in the morning and do the grinding
so we can dream in the spring about 
having  one of them days....
where we are flying with our mates....
I'm thinking that maybe you should not fly the jet... under stress
the glider maybe a more soothing, mind unwinding..... DE-stress-er
Then there is our new war wings nothing like a good air to air battle....
