Setting the Record Straight on why airplanes fly

This is my first message in 2019 intended to assist newbies (student pilots) and existing TEMAC pilots, learn how to fly their model aircraft or improve their existing flying skills. 

A short while ago I had posted on the forum a simple illustration trying to be proactive in my role as CFI (Chief Flight Instructor).  I have been advised that my theory of why airplanes fly, while not being wrong, is somewhat incomplete.  http://temac.ca/smf/index.php/topic,6818.msg45348.html#msg45348
