Anyone looking for help/instruction/maidening/insulting can pick on me this Sunday Sept 29 about 10 am to 1 pm.  Am also bringing my Pogo EF-1 racer to get in a few laps before the Orangeville race the following weekend.

Excellent... a Pogo EF-1 Racing class to be held on Sunday.  ;)

Frank v B

David,

Teaching the EF-1 class is easy.  Doing it is hard.

Think about it.  A race is simple..... take-off, 30 left turns, landing in one piece..... at ballistic speeds.... all in 90 seconds.

ps:remember GBS's quote:  "He who can, does.  He who can't, teaches."  Happy to teach you.

The forecast looks great. A bit cool and east but lighter winds.

I should be there late morning as well.

Well, not a perfect day but a good day.  No snow!  In February this would be considered an outstanding flying day.
We had the usual... cross wind... from the east, a little bit gusty but very flyable.  That's a lot better than a cross wind from the west with the swirly stuff off the trees behind us.

07- this man is smiling because.... he has a new airplane.  Does Rob D. know it is missing yet??
08- Michael prepping his Adrian Page Cub.
09- Simon Chapman grinning from ear to ear after his flight with his mixmaster.
10- Dave after the first flight with his new T-28
12- Some low life with his new Spit.  What a wonderful flyer (the plane, not the pilot).  It even has retracts... and flaps... and a rudder.  Most of my planes don't have rudders.
14- Simon holding his plane that cannot fly straight and level.  Simon even pretends he is controlling it.

The Hagens brothers  and Loi also showed up just as I was leaving.

Forgot to mention that I did pylon laps with my Pogo, twice with my Tucano (at Nooner speeds) and Nooner.  I am pumped for next Sunday.  Cory, watch out. I may do better than second last. ;) ;D

I came after 3pm.  There is probably 5km to 8km wind from S/E.  A bit cold but we had a wonderful time flying together and chatting.  I flew til 6pm.  (last one left the field).  :)

Chappers

Frank,

I primarily showed up so that I could insult you, however it was good to get some flying in too!

Simon.

Frank v B

Simon,

Great to see you and fly with you.  A whole different (better) class of insult.  ;D

The salmon and trout in the world's streams want you to fly more often. ;)

Frank

ps: for those of you who do not know Simon that well, his ultimate passion is fly fishing. 8)
