Control line electric model

I know that we fly RC, but what if I was to construct a small control line model.
The model would be using electric motor with a cut-off (yet to be designed).
Would I be able/permitted to fly C/L at the club?
Of course these would not be in front of the runway, perhaps more to the south-end of the field, behind the "facilities", when all is re-opened.

Simplest way to do the cut off is to use a receiver and transmitter.

Interesting setup with a board that controls the flight time.

That is normally how it is done. There are a few commercial units available.
Working with Kim Doherty we produced one, even sold a few.  I still use it in a couple of models.
It was very easy to adjust motor RPM, but designed for a fixed flight time that was not so easy to change.

In my MaxBee F2B model I use Igor Burgers "active" timer system, adjustments are made with a "Jeti box".
