"Never trade luck for skill"

Wow, that was the most difficult flying night in my history at TEMAC....yet it looked so nice.
The south-east quadrant of the field appeared to have huge thermals.  When a plane entered, it flipped it on its back.  Then level flight almost needed full down elevator.  Then when it left the thermal, it rolled onto its back.  It was hard to read the air to figure out what was happening.  Several planes almost did not make their way back to the filed.

Paul Scuse's plane took the opportunity to escape from view.  Paul found it in a back yard tree 7.5 km's away from the field.  He had just installed an chipped luggage tag.
Here is hoping Paul will explain how he found it.

Even Philip got caught in the atmospheric spin cycle and lost his airplane.

70- a look at the pieces.
71- can't lose a plane while sitting back relaxing1
72- Colin trying to figure out his transmitter
73- the Alien is back.  Vadim ready to fly his quad.
74- Oscar just pushed "order now" on the HobbyKing website.
75- Vadim ready to take off.
78- Simon flew his older Wattage balsa planes (Cap and Ultimate)

Paul, @PDS messaged me that his plane came down in the wind, and he retrieved it, with no damage.
Remarkable!
