Canadian International Air Show Static Display

Donald Duthie has asked if I would place the following information on the Forum to advise TEMAC members that they are invited again to participate in the CNE Canadian International Air Show by displaying some of your superb models again this year.  Donald and his family have been involved in the organization of the Canadian International Air Show for many years. 

Over the past two years, the CIAS has offered members of TEMAC an opportunity to display their models inside the VIP site at the CNE waterfront.

Details for participation are as follows;
The aircraft will be displayed in a 20ft tent, both on a runway, on the grass and also suspended above from the ceiling supports of the tent. ..
There will be 24 hour security and I will be at the display all day each day. The display will be fenced in so the spectators may look but not touch.  Plastic will be provided to cover the models in case of rain.

Models should be brought to the site on Friday morning between 10 and noon the1st of September and picked up between 4 and 5 o'clock on Monday September 4th.

Parking will be provided for both the drop off and pick up days.

Displayers will be asked the value of their aircraft and the Canadian International Air Show will cover this in their insurance policy.

Displayers and their families will be offered seats for the Air Show (I just need to know number and which date).

Limited parking is provided on non drop off and pick up days and you will be provided the Air Show program/calendar and a name badge indicating you  are a participant of the Air Show.

Detailed maps will be provided directing you to the tent location at a later date.

Hopefully many members of TEMAC will again come through and we will have an excellent display.
